Helping
- If you know a child who is/was affected by parentification you can help them in multiple different ways.
- One way that you can help you should try to keep in contact with the kids and stop them from worrying and the guilt they might feel.
- Help the children get involved with things like soccer, school clubs or Church.
- When helping you should make sure that you are patient with them because this is a very difficult time for them and you because they are changing for the better.
- Make sure to acknowledge that you see them and praise them on things they do.
- Encourage, encouraging help kids believe they are worth something and help them grow.
